Somerset Enhanced Velvet is a 100% cotton, acid free paper with a smooth velvet finish and excellent durability.
The paper is mould-made by Inveresk at St Cuthberts Mill (Wells, Somerset) - a world leading manufacturer of quality artist papers that has been producing paper since the 1700's.
Somerset Enhanced Velvet is an elegant and hardworking archival paper. Each sheet is buffered with calcium carbonate to help defend finished prints from discolouration caused by acids present in pollution.
Its highly lightfast colours and superior surface strength make this the perfect choice for limited edition prints... precisely why we've used it for our limited edition MORPH print.
