MORPH
A very special anniversary print of the legendary plasticine animation character
Morph is one of the UK's most popular plasticine 'claymotion' animation characters who shot to fame in 1977 when he joined Tony Hart on the classic children's TV show, Take Hart.
Devised and created by Peter Lord of Aardman Animations - a Bristol-based company that is now most famous for Creature Comforts and Wallace and Gromit - the character went on to appear in numerous "shorts" with his pals (including Chaz) and is currently experiencing something of a revival by being available for download onto mobile phones.
Many of the original plasticine models of Morph were sadly lost in an Aardman Animations warehouse fire in 2005 - which is why we are especially pleased to be offering an exclusive, brand new illustration of Morph that has been produced exclusively for Cult Prints by his creator, Peter Lord CBE.
