With over 10,000 pictures of Charlie Chaplin stored in the official Paris Archives - we are delighted to have obtained access to a very rare image of Chaplin in his famous Tramp costume from c.1920 that is the best surviving example of its kind. In fact, this picture has only ever been published in [what is regarded by many as] the definitive book on Charlie Chaplin: David Robinson's Chaplin: His Life and Art.
It is for this reason that we are particularly delighted to be releasing this print with the help of David Robinson - a lifelong Chaplin researcher who is described as the 'guiding light' of the BFI's various Charles Chaplin Projects.
We will soon be releasing this Charlie Chaplin picture as a limited edition print that promises to be THE collectible for fans of Chaplin everywhere.
