Released in 1921, The Kid is one of Charlie Chaplin's most celebrated films which regularly ranks as one of the finest silent films ever made. Featuring Jackie Coogan as his adopted son and sidekick, The Kid is a wonderful blend of drama and humour and was Chaplin's first full-length feature that took over a year to produce.
