There is a series of Charlie Chaplin images from c.1920 that has become synonymous with not only Chaplin, but silent comedy in general. The studio photographs of Chaplin in his Tramp costume have been widely distributed - and we are extremely pleased therefore, to have obtained a very rare image that still exists in immaculate condition and which we will soon be releasing as a limited edition print.
This particular image of Charlie Chaplin has never before been made available for purchase.
The image taken by Chaplin's cameraman Jack Wilson (who worked on The Kid, The Gold Rush and Modern Times to name but a few) and it's reproduction will be overseen by the world's leading Chaplin expert, David Robinson.
